Welcome to your Breakthrough

I want to extend a warm welcome to you. Thank you so much for contacting me. I take your interest in initiating the first step towards your Breakthrough journey very seriously. I am deeply committed to your recovery and truly honored that you are entrusting us with your care.

I know that finding the right therapist can be a frustrating and confusing process. It is important to me that your onboarding process is simple, convenient, and fast. My goal is to have you matched and seen by your new therapist within a week. For us to be able to do this, I will need you to do some things first:

Our electronic records system is through Simple Practice. This is where your consent forms are signed, payment information is stored, and your video link is accessed. 

Also make sure to schedule a call back time. We need to understand what your needs are so we can match you with the right therapist.

Cant find a time that works for you? No problem – pick a random day and time and call us when it’s convenient for you.

Once your call back time is confirmed, follow the additional prompts. This includes:

  1. Completing your consent forms
  2. Adding insurance information (if applicable)
  3. Providing a payment method

After completing the information from Simple Practice, it is important that we connect with you by phone. 

During this consultation call we want to know more about you and what you’ve been experiencing. We also need to know what your goals are and how you would like to accomplish these goals. 

Once we have this information you will be matched with a therapist and will begin the onboarding process to be scheduled with your provider. 

We accept Aetna, United Health, Oscar, Optum, and Cigna insurance. 

After you’ve been matched, we will send you a follow up email from our insurance processor via Alma or Headway.

You will be asked to create an account, sign consent forms, and set up autopay . Our insurance processor allows us to quickly verify your insurance, provide you with your copayment, and seamlessly bill your insurance for your visits. Make sure you sign up for Autopay!

Autopay is a feature through our insurance processor that allows us to collect your copayments payments after your session. Because we are 100% telehealth, this is the only way that we can ensure payment without having to call you or collect payment through the phone.

We know this will probably never happen, but just in case it does, we use Simple Practice to collect no show payments. Our no show fee is $150 per session. Why? Think of it like scheduling to meet up with me for dinner. I show up, order appetizers and drinks, and I wait..and wait…and you never show up. I call…and no answer. It doesn’t feel good. Not only was I looking forward to spending this time with you, but I also blocked out my schedule to do it. I take time to prepare for our sessions and it cost me if you don’t show up. Appointments will only be scheduled once all your paperwork is complete.
